RAX75-factory reset
May I ask does any one know if I reset my RAX75 router to factory, do I need to go through all the setup stage like I first bought it and reconnect my extender repeater that currently hooked up to the RAX75? Also, should I use my laptop browser or nighthawk app in mobile to setup after reset and can I connect my router thru app on mobile after successfully setup thru laptop browser? Many thanks.

If, after the reset, you change everything back to the same ssid/password that you had before, your device should just connect. Including your extender. I do it all the time and it works great.
Personally I prefer setup using the browser as it tends to go a lot faster than the app. The app has built in "wait" periods that slow things down big time.

Can I confirm that factory reset is done through the red button on the back of the router that require a pin to push?
Also, after the setup using the browser can I still control my router through the Nighthawk apps that still on my mobile using the admin password changed during setup process? After my reset and to put back the original SSDI/password, do I do it during set up process or through the Nighthawk app on my iphone so that my repeaters and others devices continue to recognize and connect?
Thank you.

Yes. Give it a good 15 seconds to work and look at the power LED to show that the router is rebooting. Then give it time to reconnect to the local network and let you back into the controls. You can do all that without an Internet connection.

As plemans says, the GUI is the most versatile tool. That can also do things that are beyond the scope of the app. For example, it is easier to change the wifi settings there than with the app.
Using a wired link from the laptop also means that you are less likely to be clobbered by problems if your wifi suddenly dies.
If you haven't done so already, grab a copy of the manual and scan that for the stuff that you want to manage.
