Please refer to the release notes for FW v1.0.2.76 linked below. You may update the firmware manually or also try the web interface to update the router's FW.

As I mentioned in the starting article, I updated to 1.0.2.76 already and that changed nothing. What did help was taking that pile of trash back to costco and getting the MR60 meshed system. The MR60 worked right away and ive had no problems with it other than it is technically slower than the rax75. It still is an AX wifi 6 router, and covers a wider range with the satellite units.
The RAX75 is the first netgear router that i will publically call trash. Ive used many netgears over the years and this is the first i absolutely hated.
So leasons learned here: get the MR60 mesh nighthawk router, not the RAX75.
note, i didnt mention i updated to 1.0.2.76. Allthough i did manage to make that happen after i posted this.
