RAX8 will not connect to 192.168.100.1

Thanks for the quick response.  Here are my replies and my next steps

• disconnecting the PC from the router is not sufficient.  I have to disconnect the router also and then reboot my CM so it forgets the router MAC address
• I don't want to change anything on the CM, just look at the logs to see why I am so many disconnects from Comcast.
• I didn't think I could see why the network disconnected in the RAX logs.  I look there. thanks for the tip
• I don't know why my IP address starts at 0.1 and not 1.1.  I don't recall changing that.  I'll change back to 1.1.  Maybe I'll do a factory reset of the RAX
• I am still curious why the RAX allowed me to connect to 10.0.0.1 and it will not allow 192.168.100.1.  they are both out of range no? I can ping the 100.1 address so why can't the router just connect me?

thanks for all the help.  I'll change the RAX IP address range.  I am curious to see if that changes anything
