I have the same issue as well.
Back in post 38 txchuko posted the following:
If you havent tried the following please do so
log on to router web interface
under wan or lan in the advanced settings, disable port scan.
also if you are having issues with multiple consoles, also in wan or lan, set nat filtering to “open” or “off.
Did anyone trying to see if it worked for them long term?

Many of us are experiencing random disconnect from Lan. It seems Netgear is not acknowledging the issue, so I am not expecting a firmware fix.
I started using an unmanaged switch connected to the RAX80, and so far, so good.
- ChocobofarmJun 22, 2021GuideUnfortunately, there's no fix. You'll need to use another router in front of the RAX80 if you want a reliable wired LAN connection for your console. That being said, you probably won't get disconnected if you connect to the RAX80 wirelessly rather than by wired ethernet. Personally, I went with the first option: I bought a dedicated ethernet router and now connect my consoles, gaming PCs and the RAX80 directly to that one instead. Haven't had a disconnect since. In this setup, the RAX80 serves only as a wifi6 access point (an expensive one, unfortunately).

Yep. It doesn't have to be a router though. I've been using a simple ethernet switch infront of mine and haven't had one disconnect since.
- ChocobofarmJun 22, 2021GuideGood point about the switch. I used a router mostly because I wanted to have all of my devices on the same network. Also, I'm not sure my ISP provider would support having a switch in front of the router. Bottom line, the RAX80's wired ethernet is broken and Netgear doesn't seem to care
