RAX80 slow, occurs weekly(?); Gig internet (typically 800-960) at 10-15 down; reboot & all’s well

I irregularly (approx, weekly) start to notice slower responses on browser, then with downloads that all but stall. Cable modem reboot has no affect. Only rebooting RAX80 resolves issue.

 

I Have a buried wired connection to an EAX extender in detached garage which also drops out leaving WiFi home automation orphaned (noticeable symptom) which a reboot of that device also resolves. This occurs perhaps monthly.

 

Both devices are up to date firmware-wise. Conveniently, occurrences began after warranty & support expired. Considering price, I bristle at paying yet more so devices (will? / may?) work.

    Hi A2cents, 

     

    May you let us know the firmware version the devices are currently on. You may try performing a factory reset on the router and extender and running through the setup assistant again.
