This Nighthawk is running thru an ISP gateway from AT&T using the IP address I mentioned in my original post. I turned off all wifi functions in the ISP gateway. I believe I might know the answer to my question but if someone cares to offer something I will compare to my solution and see if we agree.

Please try setting the gateway to modem mode only to see if your issue persists.

I fixed it. I tried to set up the AT&T gateway to config this RAX80 as a Cascade Router with the new IP and subnet but it didn't want to cooperate. I am good now. Thank you
