Using this NetGear router as secondary router upstairs. Main modem/router, is connected to NetGear router via cat 6 ethernet.
I did not turn off DHCP on Netgear, nor did I change the IP address! I'm not sure if this needs to be done?
192.168.1.1 cannot connect it 'times out'
I can connect devices to NetGear SSID's, & ethernet connected all work. If changes to secondary NetGear router log in page are required, how can I access, NetGears log ion page. I have valid account & user/pass
Thanks
Rick

You should set your second router in Access Point mode to avoid double NAT issues. You can then connect to its Web-based interface using the IP address your main router assigns to your second one in AP mode
