A quick shufti at the CityFibre stuff suggests that it is full fibre, so it may reach you through an optical network termination (ONT). If you are lucky this will be a simple "hole in the wall" that you can plug in a LAN cable that runs straight into the WAN port of the RAXE300. No cheapo router bit to get in the way.
If your problem is with getting a Window 11 PC to connect, that could be more of a local thing than anything to do with the Internet connection.
Windows likes to protect us from new networks that might be evil. In reality, it can shut us out of safe networks.
One thought is that you could tell Windows that you are on a "private network".
- Network and Internet settings
- Network Status
- Change Connection Properties
- Network Profile
- Private
I'm told that this is rubbish advice. But it has worked for me and others in the same boat.
