Michael - thank you for the quick feedback and I am surprised (though I shouldn't be) for I had thought I had the latest firmware. In the past, I would like on the Check for Update within Netgear software and it would always tell me I have the latest firmware.
Well, based on your advice, I went to Netgear support page and discovered there is a new firmware version!! I downloaded it and updated the firmware manually. Rebooted my router and PC -- I AM ONLINE! I AM ALIVE!
