RAXE300 slow connections
Started having speed problems with my RAXE300. Was getting 500+Mbps, all of a sudden, barely get 8Mbps on either wifi or wired. Latest firmware V1.0.7.62_1. It's connected to CM700 with supplied wire....
- Solved: as a last resort I did a factory reset. Back to normal speeds, just a pain to have to put everything back in.
I have both a netgear raxe300 and UAP 6 enterprise. I am currently using libre test to test the wifi speed to decide which one I want to keep. Here are some interesting findings:
I found speed between two local clients under Netgear Raxe 300 5ghz wifi is around 700-900mbps while under UAP is 100-200 mbps under 5ghz wifi. But when I test it between a wired client and a wireless client, it is normal(900mbps).
The main usage for wifi is streaming game from my pc steam or ps5 to my steam deck. All of the devices are connected wirelessly. The wiredest thing is although Netgear has much better throughput, it stutters a lot in my remote game play while UAP 6 enterprise doesn't have any stuterness and is much stable than Netgear.
Just curious if there is toggle I can toggle or it's just normal for AP https://19216801.onl/ ?
