RAXE500 Periodically drops Wifi Connection
Peridodically, maybe two to three times during the day, my router will just drop connection. Not sure what truly causes it, and for some reasons wants to go down at the most in-opportune times. I can...

Have you noticed if its the 5ghz or the 2.4ghz thats dropping out?
Does it actually stop broadcasting or does it say "connected, no internet"?
Are you using smart connect?
Also, are you using the dfs channels on the 5ghz? If so, try setting the speed to "up to 2400mbps" and using the higher 5ghz channels. If you're in a dfs area, it could be disabling/switching to other channels that causes the drop.
Also, there is a beta firmware you can try.

It is both the 5ghz and the 2.5ghz that drop out of connection.
It will stop broadcasting, than later appear back up with a "Connected but no internet," than return back to normal.
I am not 100% sure if I am using smart connect, routerlogin only redirects me to the netgear website, and the Nighthawk app does not allow me, or at least I cannot find it, the options for smart connect.
I do not believe we are in a DFS area, knowing the area that we reside in is more ruralized area, outside of the main city.

When it drops, have you checked to see if its rebooting or what the led's are doing on it?
I'd try installing the beta firmware and then doing a factory reset/reinstall of it.

I haven't checked the LEDs typically from when it goes down, due to the convenience of the Nighthawk app allowing me to reset from my bedroom.
And I just updated the firmware to V1.0.9.78 as well, and we have a tech from the fiber company coming to double check the modem, if that could be any cause of the issue.

After the update, have you tried the factory reset/reinstall?
The RAXE500 was ahead of its time with 6E and so firmware has included fixes directly from the cpu driver manufacturer. They've responded favorably to factory resets and doing a clean install (not from a backup)
