RAXE500 VPN broken by firmware version 1.2.13.100
Firmware version 1.2.13.100 breaks the VPN on Netgear RAXE500 router. I reverted back to 1.0.12.96 and the VPN started working properly again... As of right now this has not been confirmed by Netgear, but I have asked for confirmation through my open ticket.
In any case, if your RAXE500 was recently updated to firmware version 1.2.13.100, and your VPN is now broken, try reverting back to version 1.0.12.96. It fixed the VPN issue that I was experiencing. Also, if automatic firmware updates are enabled on your RAXE500, disable them until Netgear is able to deliver a working version (for the VPN) beyond 1.2.13.100.
If Netgear support is reading this post, my case number is 47957947. I would appreciate a call back as promised, and/or an email confirming the issue and providing a timeline for a fix. I my opinion, a hotfix is justified.

So far with that firmware issue, there is a VPN configuration issue that somehow got introduced with the update that causes DNS to not be properly handled.
So far the issues with the VPN, USB storage, and DHCP options seem to be known, and thus will be fixed, though it is always good for them to have as much info as possible relating to any issue a firmware bug.

I am also having issues with the VPN and the firmware v1.2.13.100 (My netgear case number 48002888).
My issue is that I cannot browse the Internet while is connected to the VPN. I reverted back to firmware V1.0.12.96_2.0.45 and fixed the issue.
