Disney+ buffering
I just received a new Verizon FIOS router (CR1000a) as my other one was quite old. I've hooked it up and everything seems fine with the exception for Disney+. It's constantly buffering. The FIOS TV s...

I was doubtful that a double NAT situation was the cause of the problem, but I went and set my NG router as an access point.
Why did you doubt that? Was there something on the suggestion from microchip8 that looked wrong?
I ask because double NAT is a common source of problems with two routers. It is a no-brainer to try that. If going to AP mode doesn't solve a problem, then look elsewhere.
Any other ideas?
We don't know what the firmware version is on you RAX80.
Please don't say "the latest". That often turns out to be false claim. The version number is the only reliable check. You can use the Nighthawk app or a web browser and the graphical user interface (GUI) to check that.
Another thing to check is the TV that makes the connection. It is easy to scream "router" when you hit a network issue. You may need to look at the Ethernet settings in the TV. Ask LG about that.

I'm not blaming the router. I'm posting this in a forum that I feel is more technically savvy, and may have experienced similar issues.
What I know now is that a WiFi connection from the TV to the NG router does not present the buffering issue, but an ethernet one does. I'll follow up on an LG forum, but can anyone think of a reason why WiFi works, but ethernet does not?

One possibility that comes to mind is that the settings on the TV's LAN configuration need changing.
LAN should be easier to configure than wifi, but the people who design smart TVs are a bit like the people who create IoT stuff, a law unto themselves.

I checked out the network config on the TV for WiFi and ethernet. They are identical except for the IP address and the MAC address.
