Re: NETGEAR_RAX43v2 will not update to this Version of firmware 1.1.4.28!
Hey guys, any updates to this? Support has been trying to get this firmware updated and no luck. We've tried a factory reset, updating manually. No prevail!!

Good questions thanks for your response!
What is happening when you try to update the router? It updated to the version previous, for the newest version it's saying that the firmware is not compatible with my router.
How are you trying to update the router? Manually? Unpacking the .zip file? Tried all of the above, same results, got a call in to Netgear.....support and I reset my router to factory reset and still same issue. They have tried updating it as well with their steps (in which are the same as I tried)
What browser are you using? Try a different browser? Edge and Chrome (we did both)
What FW version is currently loaded on the router?

I got a call back from the vendor, they believe it's an issue with the firmware, clearly most of us are having the issue. They are going to get back to me. (just an update)
Thanks for your response!

Has anyone tried loading v1.1.6.36 FW? https://www.netgear.com/support/product/rax43v2

Hi FURRYe38, thank you for your asking. Yes, I tried the FW you mentioned, which is actually the latest version. However, it still returned the same error message: incorrect firmware.I tried updating by both integrated system setting and uploading FW downloaded from Netgear website. Neither of them worked out.
I don't know. I believe the issue has been there at least since brad99superd posted it here, but Netgear seems like not caring about it at all.

Try NMRPFlash and force v.36 on to the router?

Hi FURRYe38, thank you for offering a new method. I tried it multiple times (e.g., w or w/o holding reset button, different lan ports, and different combinations of commands) according to the instruction given on its Github page. However, this method seemed to not work with the router. Neither was the model of router mentioned in the instruction, though it was said to be compatible with most of netgear routers. Do you think is there a possibility of getting a netgear engineer in this issue? Thank you!
