Michael me ward is right, I have had issues with that feature for years. I always disable it has caused me issues with a lot of legitimate stuff. In my experience almost all of the supposed attacks in my logs were not actual DDOS attempts.

The checkbox is named "Known DoS attacks and Port Scans". In the older version of the firmware 1.2.3.28 it was working. It stopped working in this newer version. I have always checked this checkbox because I am wanting to see what is hitting my router from the outside. I have version 1 of the RAX120 router and have already factory reset it after I saw it was not working anymore and the reset changed nothing. The firmware developer broke it and that is a bad thing. If you read the release notes you will see that they made a change to support a Chinese game. I really hope that the developer did not break this function on purpose so that the Chinese military could hack into the network without being caught. Might just be paranoia but we are not on the best of terms right now with the Chinese government.
