I'm not able to locate an automatic scheduled restart option that could potentially help with an automated weekly restart.
You have probably noticed that the user manual does not mention a scheduled restart feature:
https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/RAXE500/RAXE450_RAXE500_UM_EN.pdf
Although such a feature was common 15 years ago, more recently vendors have stopped including such a feature, perhaps as a result of customers having so many devices on-line that expect 24/7 connections. If my router restarted by itself, the number of "alerts" to my cell phone would be seriously annoying.
There is a way to schedule automatic restarts: connect the router to a Smart Plug and set up a schedule. I am not recommending that anyone do this, but have demonstrated that for several brands of Smart Plug it works as expected. The key is that Smart Plugs keep the schedule on the plug itself and do not require WiFi connection to carry it out. The plug could, for example, be set to turn off at 1:00am every so often (daily? weekly? monthly?) and turn back on two minutes later.
Those CPU number appear strange. Less than 1% CPU usage on 3 of 4 CPUs, seriously? (and, yes, one of them appears to be missing. Does the router report all four CPUs when restarted?)
The post does not say, but is it correct to assume that the 90 days of 'complimentary support' have already expired on this router?

thanks for the reply:
yes, 90 days is long past..
appreciate the note about the smart plug.. not sure i want to hard power cycle it like that tho.. and i agree with the cell notifications caused in the middle of the night would be unwelcomed..
I just checked and the CPU usage on the three is still ~1% Ive never noticed a 4th CPU.. but i never knew to look for it either so i cant say i was paying attention to it. I'll try a power cycle and see if it appears..
Thanks!

Power-cycled and still only 3 CPU's.. ill try a full factory reset again and see if the 4th is there before i restore a backup. cross your fingers.. any other ideas to get the 4th CPU back are welcome...
