readyshare printer r8000

Question

i am trying since 3 days even if i am connecting the printer it doesnt show in the netgear usb control centre nor does the light come in router either in usb1 or usb3.0

please please advice me where am i going wrong . my brother printer software is fully installed in the desktop.

What brother printer is it?&nbsp;
The netgear readyshare printer is a bit clunky and a lot of brother printers can be networked without needing the readyshare printer option.&nbsp;
