router cant access netgear account
setup new router yesterday through web page. today I login to router and wants netgear account. I go to login and just keeps saying "something went wrong". I can obviously get to my account here. in ...
based on your statement no account is needed for routers I disconnected the router from the internet and got in.
kind of a pain but i got ports forwarded i was after in the first place. thanks for the help

Ya, seems to be an issue with this version of FW.
Only way to get in is a factory reset and setup from scratch. With out the router connected to the ISP modem.
so ii will have to do a reset every time i want to update router?

how will it verify my netgear subscription then?
There is no subscription for NG routers. There is for Armor and SPC.
Once you factory reset the router and setup manually, after the router is setup, just reconnect it to the ISP modem.
Hopefully NG will fix this on next FW update.
I'd open a support ticket with NG support and let them know what your having problems with.
