Router is on 24/7 - that ok?

I shut down my computer every night but I notice the Nighthawk remains 'on'. That of course means it is on all the time, 24/7.

Simply, is that ok or am I shortening the lifespan of my new router?

    Agreed, its fine. I've had a router on 24/7 for years
