Router name and internet name from ethernet are different
I had a situation where I had to turn my router off for a long amount of time, and after a week I turned it back on, which then showed me that it had reset. Now my wifi is giving me really bad connec...
Not much to go on.
You have a NG router? IF so, model# is a great start.
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
There's a support site with access to manuals, firmware, install guides, etc.
Go to https://www.netgear.com/support/
Type in your model number and from there it'll take you to the above.
Its a great resource to start with.
