A bit more info is needed. 

1. do you mean your laptop can't see the wifi? 

2. does it connect if its wired in?

3. What laptop is it? Try finding out what wireless card is in the laptop. and then go to that manufacturer's site to get the driver and install it. many times people wait for windows update to update the driver. and it is usually a few behind. This caused issues with AX devices as some of these wireless cards won't "see" it. So update your driver

4. What firmware is on the router? 

5. modem its connected to?
