Slow 2.4 GHz wifi on RAX120v1

Do you have a reliable tip on how do you test throughput speed?
It's not the connection speed. It's the actual internet speed I experience when I'm connected on the 2.4GHz band. It is intermittently very slow (worse than old school dial-up connection slow). My internet speed on 5GHz band usually sits reliably at 63Mbps.

What internet speeds do you pay for?
Thats how I usually test unless I'm testing speeds faster than my ISP supplies.
And if you're hitting 229mbps over 2.4ghz and only 63mbps over 5ghz, somethings wrong there. The 5ghz should be significantly faster than 2.4ghz.
