slow speed with vpn express vpn

Question

With router RAX40 v2 when I use vpn my speed is cut in half. If I go somewhere else and use the same vpn I don't lose that much speed. I think it has something to do with router.

VPNs can reduce speed when enabled.&nbsp;Something to contact Express VPN about regarding there product.&nbsp;

I get half the speed when I have the vpn on. I think it has something todo with the router because it does not do that if I go somewhere else and have the vpn on. Is this a netgear thing or do other routers do the same thing. 950mbps with vpn off and 500 mbps when it is on.&nbsp;

Express VPN don’t have a solution and don’t know what would cause it. It seems to me the router has something to do with it because I don’t have the same problem if I go somewhere else and get on the internet.&nbsp;
