What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
What are your wired speed results with a wired PC connected to the ISP modem? Same at the router?
Use Ooklas installable speed test app on the wired PC.

Wired PC to ONT connection speed test: > 900 Mbps download & > 500 Mbps upload
Router speed test: Download: around 550 Mbps & Upload: around 500 Mbps

Always do this when you have changed your Internet service. You want it to forget any settings carries over from the old Internet service.
Router speed test: Download: around 550 Mbps & Upload: around 500 Mbps

1- Wired: Router ---> ONT using Cat5 cable provided by ISP and running Netgear's own speed test available through the Netgear Nighthawk iOS APP: Download: around 550 Mbps & Upload: around 500 Mbps
2- Wired: PC ---> Netgear Nighthawk router running speed test in Chrome: Download - 655 Mbps & Upload - 440 Mbps
I will do the factory reset procedure and see if that improves things.

Not the most reliable speedtest. Try few others.
