I ma getting a slower speed hardwired also only just above wireless speeds - not what I expected.
I checked the pings and tracert and see the response times to the Xfinity gateway and DNS is slow (see piong and tracert stats below)
I will check with Xfinity as this is meant to be a gigabit connection.

I had an Xfinity engineer come out and test the spped which was up to par 800-1100 and using a Cat 6 connection to the Modem has good spped, but unless I am right next to the router I do not get more that 300 at best and mostly 100.
I guest it is just my house - anyhow 100 is good enough as I had move the route into my office and hardwired my office PC for work.
