Switch limiting to 100Mbps
Hi,
I bought my router a few years ago, I've used it in several places in the house. However only today did I actually check the download speed through the switch. From my PC I can connect directly...

I don't use the WAN port as I don't want NAT. I want my printer to be able to scan to my PC over the network, and its behind the RAX120 router.
How can the WAN port be better suited to 1Gbps networking than the multi-gig port?
As I said, the problem is independent of the router or the PC, since in a direct connection between the 2 there is no problem. A recent PC in the same room experiences the same behaviour.
Does anyone have 1Gbps networking happening over the 4 ethernet ports at the back of the RAX120?

Please give feedback to the following:
What is the brand and model of the ethernet adapter in the PC?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.
What is the connection rate seen on routers WEB UI under Advanced tab/Show Stats for the LAN port 5 which is the MG Port and where your ethernet connected PC is on the LAN port in back of the router? Should show 1000Mpbs for both.
Also connect the ISP modem/ONT to the yellow WAN port to see the connection rate here as well. Please post this rate. Should be 1000Mpbs.
How is the RAX configured for Internet? Using the MG port?
Yes BOTH WAN and MG ports will give near 900Mpbs to the LAN Ports in back if there is no problems from the ISP modem, Cabling and PC.
