Default mode for all NG routers is DHCP.
There will be a DHCP option seen under Internet Setup. There maybe two options seen here, DCHP and PPPoE selectable radio dots or buttons.

This is what my router's internet setup options page looks like, there is no DHCP, it is a dropdown not a radio button option.

OK, I forgot that the options are YES and NO. Yes means it changes to PPPoE configuration. NO, changes back to DCHP.
