"This NETGEAR device is already registered with another account" message
I’ve tried to setup an Orbi mesh for someone and tested using my account, when I try to setup the persons details in who I set it up for it gives me the message:
“ "This NETGEAR device is already registered with another account"
How do I transfer the product to the correct owner as I don’t own them.
I’ve seen previous posts stating I should contact NG support but the complimentary support has ended and I can not raise a case with them CIA my products page.

3 months to set up, I've a feeling you purchased this second hand and you can't transfer the warranty.
- 3monkeyTutorHow is your response helpful in any way?
It’s nothing to do with the warranty.
I setup and then sold the device if you must know and want to allow the new owner to be able to remotely administer it himself, I’m pretty confident that I’m allowed to sell my own property and the new owner use all of its facilities...- NewfiedroolVirtuoso
So it's not quite like your first post. The warranty is not transferable and your first post was trying to get round the terms and conditions.
if you sell it on it goes with no warranty unless you honour it to the seller.
- JNCUSTOMAspirantIn the Orbi app, it seems you can remove device by going to Support>3 dots>Remove Device. Let me know if this works. I assume it’s how it works but I have not tried it personally yet.
