this netgear device is already registered with another account
can anyone help with this annoying issue? my rax 35 router is telling me that
"this netgear device is already registered with another account"
I tried using the search option, without any results.
thanks to everyone,
i was able to get it corrected, finally got on a chat with a live person. i had to hard reset my router and app and change my email to another account.

Where did you get this RAX35? If it was second hand, then the previous user can deregister it:
The way to do this is the reverse process of registering.
Go here:
Login to your account. This will list your registered devices.
Click the device you want to "lose" and scroll down to the bottom and find the well hidden link: Unregister Product
Why do you want to register the router? If it is a matter f warranty and support, these don't transfer to new users.
