Unable to access my security camera system since installing new RAX45-100NAS Router
I installed my router and now I am unable to gain access to my security camera systems via their access programs on my computer. The problem also occurs on my cell phone. The weird part is, on my cell phone if I am away from my home i can look at the system affected but when i am home i cannot log in on either my phone or my computers. This has happened just since installing the new router. Everything worked fine on my older Ac1750 Netgear router.

1. what modem/gateway is the router connected to?
2. what firmware is on the router?
3. what security system is it? is it wireless? wired? has a control hub thats wireless/wired?
4. Did you check with the security system manufacturer? maybe it needs certain ports opened.

It's connected to a Cisco DPC3010 Modem provided by Sprectrum Communications
The router firmware is 1.0.5.106 which is latest version available
Lorex Security system, Cameras connect wirelessly to system and system is connected to network via Cat5 cable
I will check with Lorex, but everything worked fine with old R6400 router. No problem until I installed RAX45.
I just spent the last 1/2 hour talking with a support person at Netgear. Nothing helped.
If you put the lorex hubs ip address into the router's dmz, does that work?
