Unable to Complete Factory Reset Nighthawk RAX45 AX4300
Hi all,
I have a Nighthawk RAX45 AX4300 with firmware V1.0.4.100. It is no longer under warranty by about 4 months.
I attempted to conduct a firmware update over the app and it was unable to be completed. After rebooting it via the app, I was still unable to complete the firmware update. I then manually turned it off and on and created the current issue. It no longer sends out a signal that can be seen by other devices and I'm unable to reconnect via the app.
I attempted to reinstall it via the app but it could not be connected.
I attempted multiple factory resets for 10-60 sec but it did not reset.
Any suggestions or did it crap out?

In the future, I'd highly recommend against using the app or wifi to update the router. When we see corrupt firmware issues, it tends to be when its done over the app or over wifi.
You can try recoving it with tftp or nmrpflash.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash
