Unable to hide ssid broadcast

I canceled the SSID broadcast and found that the phone could not search to wifi.  I have reset the router to the factory defaults, but it has no effect.

You told the router not to broadcast an SSID?

 

If so that explains this:

The phone won't see a wifi that is not broadcasting itself.

 

Is the wifi LED showing on the RAX40?
