Unable to register my product serial number already registered to another customer

Hi.  

 

I hope somebody can help me.  I've tried registering my brand new RAX200 router but I get a message saying "The serial number is already registered to another customer....". This cannot be as I purchased it brand new and still factory sealed!

 

What can I do?

    Please contact our Customer Care at customer.service@netgear.com and provide them with your email address, serial number, and proof of purchase.
