Unable to Register Nighthawk AXE11000 Router to My Account
Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a Netgear Nighthawk router ([AXE11000]) as B-ware from Amazon. While I was able to log in to the router’s admin interface on my PC, I’m facing an issue:
I cannot link the router to my Netgear account because the serial number is apparently still registered under the previous owner’s account.
I’ve already reset the router to factory settings multiple times, but the issue persists.
Since the 90-day complimentary support has expired, I cannot reach out to Netgear’s official support.
Does anyone know how I can transfer the serial number to my account or what steps I can take to fully register the router as my own?
Thanks in advance for your help!

You can try contacting support through the email on the registration FAQ. With proof of purchase, maybe they can remove it prior registration.

Thanks in advance for your help!plemans has offered the best advice. I chip in only to point out that registration doesn't do anything unless the previous owner tied the device to one of Netgear's cloud services. And most of those are now defunct.
You can't get support and warranties don't transfer.
