UPnP broken in Netgear RAXE500 on firmware 1.2.13.100, works on 1.0.12.96
Hello, Netgear community,
Problem: UPnP is not working as expected
Temp Solution: Reverting to firmware version 1.0.12.96
OS: Windows 11, Android
Router: Netgear Nighthawk RAXE500
As the title suggests, there seems to be a problem with the ongoing firmware at the time of writing this, which is version 1.12.13.100.
The firmware has difficulty forwarding ports using the UPnP protocol with Windows apps and Android. I'm not sure if this has already been reported.
I had to revert to firmware version 1.0.12.96 to get the UPnP working.
I'll attach some screenshots for your reference below:

I'm glad that such issues can be forwarded using this platform.

Had a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed to check this?
- sachbTutorYes, before reverting to the previous version of the firmware, I performed a reset using the button on the router just to check if it wasn't some glitch.
I'd open up a support ticket and let NG support know about this then:
https://my.netgear.com/support/contact.aspx
https://www.netgear.com/support/contact.aspx
Then clicking on "Get answers about NETGEAR products before I buy" then clicking on "Networking for Home" then "Chat with us".
