USB External Drives not recognised on Readycloud but are available on LAN
Hi - I've got the RAX120 router and have set readyshare up. It has two drives attached, both of which are accessible on the LAN from all devices. The two drives *were* also visible via readycloud and I was able to share files without issue to family overseas.
Unfortunately the drives are no longer visible on Readycloud. They are however working fine on the LAN.
I am running Windows 10 on two PCs and latest OS on two MACs. Nil access via readycloud apps which show a wheel going round while the router appears to try and find the drives and then gives up.
I am running the latest firmware on the router. I have deregistered and reregistered my account and created a secondary account and then done the same. Nothing has worked.
I note historical discussions with this issue but nothing recent and no solution. Help gratefully received - thanks!

Hi Boris,
That is a known issue - see firmware notes. What firmware version are you running?

There is an alternative by using NETGEAR DDNS (dynamic DNS). Take a look in the router admin page. Go to Advanced tab ->Advance Setup->Dynamic DNS. It is free to set up. You'll be able to access USB content via https://<name>.mynetgear.com/shares, where 'name' is something such as 'boris', https://boris.mynetgear.com/shares. It will be secured with your admin credentials. Read the manual below. I use an app on my Android phone and I am uable to access and upload files (and make folders) with the app when I am away from home.
