USB LED (AX10 router)
I've connected a hub for my security cameras and the USB LED is slowly blinking red. The hub is connected via LAN cable. What have I not done that is causing the red light?

The cable is an ethernet cable. It connects a hub for security cameras. The router is an AX1800. Model EAX10. Are all of your replies this insulting?

For LAN ports, flashing usually means traffic.
What is that hub? Brand? Is it talking to the cameras over wifi? Or are they also wired?

What is it? EAX devices are a wifi extenders, not routers. Your previous message said RAX10. That's a router.
Where does the USB come in to this? Is that an LED on the router?
What is insulting about asking for details?
I hope you don't find my questions offensive. Troubleshooting depends on understanding what is going on in a network in as much detail as possible.

in 100% agreement with michaelkenward . Details are key. We're not trying to be insulting. But we're not there to see what you have, what you're using, what you've done, etc. We're trying to troubleshoot through a forum and getting limited info. And not always correct info as Netgear doesn't have an EAX10.
and it could be the hub you have only connects at 10/100mbps speeds. That could cause a red ethernet light.

But we really can't tell you for sure without details of what you have for router and hub that you have connected.
