VLAN/Bridge Settings Netgear Nighthawk RAX45
Hello Everyone,
I just bought the above router and I am still learning it. I have been searching for 2 hours for videos that show different config stuff and I saw the VLAN / Bridging Settings and I was wondering several things:
1 - Is this for the wan side or the lan side?
2 - How do I ensure that port 1 (on router) is a trunk port so it will work with my Netgear JGS524Ev2 managed switch?
fyi here are my specs:
Thanks for your input, it is much appreciated,
Michael
- The VLAN setting on NG routers are only there for very specific ISP connection uses. They are not regular VLAN you can use like on other devices that offer full-blown VLANs
