Weird connection status in Device Manager
Hi I actively monitor my devices that are connected and notice that I see devices saying wired. The latest being a Samsung TV in my master bedroom that has never been nor ever will be wired. Is...

I've never seen a good explanation of how devices are added to or
removed from the Attached Devices report on any of these routers.

"checked"? What's to "check"? What did you expect to learn from the

Nmap "is a free and open source utility"; it's a tool. I would not
expect there to be much (if any) demand for a commercial version, but
you're free to look for one. A keyboard "is often used as a hacker
tool", too. Did you plan to get rid of yours for that reason?

Thanks and I appreciate your responding, though I do not appreciate the sarcasm if you are truely trying to help and it is not some sort of ego trip for you! I hope this explains my questions and please be tolerant and understanding of those who may know less than you.

I know NMAP is a good mapping tool and even though it is free, just like many open source base tools you can often find paid versions that provide better UI's etc. Look at how RedHat or Mondelio, etc busines models worlk, so I was just hoping for suggestions. Plus in this world of hackers, they can inject code even into Git respositorires and corrupt open source. See examples from Microsoft, Oracle etc, so I wanted to be caution.
