what is wrong with Nighthawk RAX54v2 admin login

I have Nighthawk RAX54v2, whenever i try to access the admin control panel it requires a netgear.com web site account login (this is the last netgear product i buy for this reason, why do i have to log into your web site to manage a router in my house). Anyway, Whenever I need to access admin control panel, i login to my ng account (i now have several) it says "oops something went wrong". 

The only way I have found to access the admin panel is to create a brand new account, so i just use another throwaway email each time i need to access the admin panel for the router, then i have access to the control panel. What's the deal? what happened to netgear, i have been a customer for years and have never experienced this problem. I checked and i have the latest firmware, maybe this is a bug?
