My modem is a HUMAX BGW320-500 Broadband Gateway that I have on pass through so I can use the Netgear Router.
Does anyone have setup? Know it can use both devices faster ports and is it even worth it?
thank you
There is one Multi-Gig port on the RAXE500, max link speed is 2.5 Gb/s.
You can can define the Multi-Gig Nr. 5 2.5G as the Internet port, and connect it to the blue Multi-Gig (it's 2.5G/5G) port on the BGW320-500 Broadband Gateway Nr. 1 - only to this port, not concurrent with the other yellow GbE port 2..4.
With a configurable 2.5G switch, you could establish two GbE Aggregation links to the router Aggregate port 3 and 4. So connected devices can be operated faster than the said 1 Gb.
