When I went to buy a new Ethernet cable last I saw there were now Cat8 so that's what I bought and use. That is OK right? One Cat8 goes from Gateway (Fiber Optic Modem) to the Router (RAXE500 AXE11000 Tri Band WiFi Router). The other one is still in the box. Does the cable have UTP or STP printed on it? There different though CAT# can be 8.

More than unlikely there are UTP cables anywhere near to CAT 8 ... considering this means 2000 MHz bandwidth. CAT8 would support 25Mbps and 40 Mbps Ethernet.
