- Meaning start all over again? No and it doesn't make sense to do that all time. Trying to find a different solution.
what modem/gateway do you have?
Are you cycling the modem too? If so, power both off, then power the modem on (with nothing connected) and give it 2 minutes. Then power on the router and give it a bit to boot up.

Am not sure what my modem is but it's for fiber optic connection.
