Location: The laptop as well as the router have been in the same location for about 4 years, with various routers.
Laptop: My wife's smart phone shows the same issue.
The router is about 1 year old, I'm not ready to buy a new one.
Would a repeater help?
I just don't understand how the signal strength can vary from zero to full.
