Working from home Nighthawk X6

We replaced old netgear router with a new Nighthawk X6 since the old one continued disconnected through out the day. It made it very difficult to work from home.

Is there any way to prioritize a connection so the router will not disconnect it or reset through out the day

  • Which model?

    Firmware on it? 

    What modem are you using? 

    What speeds do you pay for? 

    If its >250mbps, then qos isn't recommended. 

    Is the new one resetting? 

    What device is disconnecting? 
    Is it connected via 2.4ghz, 5ghz, or wired?
