Wyse Thinclient 3000 not getting IP address with AX1800

Question

Hello, my wife just started working from home and she cannot get her Dell Wyse Thinclient 3000 to get Internet activity. After speaking at length with her admin, it was found that the Thinclient was not being issued an IP address from the router. I have had no other issues with this router and the cable I used works fine with my my personal laptop. The Thinclient even shows as an attached device on the router admin page. Network settings are set to automatic on the Thinclient. Does anyone have an idea on how to get this to work? I did read another post on here where someone had the same issue with another Nighthawk and Wyse but no solution was given. Thanks

If other devices work with the router, then something to contact this one devices Mfr about for help and support information regarding there product.&nbsp;

DHCP issues are about as old as Wyse does make thin clients. Conditions vary, some thin clients don't like any kind of spanning tree activity). Most simple approach is to assign a fixed IP (not just a DHCP reservation) for the few systems causing DHCP issues. Talk to the admin in charge...

Well, I was able to fix this but not in a desirable way. My wife's system admin was being uncooperative so I just bought a TP-Link router and it worked right out of the box. Hopefully, Netgear improves its firmware in the future.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your response!!!!&nbsp; I have been trying for over a week to get my AX1800 to communicate with my Wyse 5070 Thin Client.&nbsp; Neither my ISP, Geek Squad, NetGear nor my IT department could figure out why.&nbsp; I saw your post on the suggestion of NetGear support and went and bought a TP-Link router.&nbsp; Like you all I did was plug it in and it worked.&nbsp; It took over a week of incredible frustration and disruption in work to get this worked out.&nbsp; So again, thank you so much!
