My Time VPN evades parental controls

My kid’s iPad ignores all time limits ever since I installed My Time on it. The VPN connection obscures it from the Orbi, making it appear offline in the Device Manager. These Smart Parental Controls are a bit too smart for their own good. How do I un-install My Time from his iPad? What other recourse do I have? Has anybody else run into this?

    I would contact the mfr of the My Time VPN and ask them about if it avoids being controlled by parental controls on routers and apps. I presume it may and most VPNs are just that, virtual PRIVATE network thats not seen by the standard network.
