Welcome to the NETGEAR Community!
I understand that you are unable to see the SPC tile on your Orbi app. Please ensure that you are using the same email address for my.netgear.com as you are with your Orbi app. Then verify that NETGEAR SPC is enabled on your device to achieve this you will need to use a computer.
Please follow to instructions below to verify your NETGEAR SPC subscription:
To verify that NETGEAR SPC is active on your router please do the following:
- Launch a web browser on a computer that is connected to your Orbi router’s WiFi network.
- Visit www.orbilogin.net.
- Enter the default user name and password.
The default user name is admin. The default password is password. (The BASIC page will be displayed on initial login). - Select ADVANCED > Security > Parental Controls.
- Click UPGRADE TO NETGEAR SPC at the bottom of the page.
- Select OK. (Please wait for your router to reboot.)
After you enable NETGEAR SPC through your web browser, the Parental Controls page no longer displays in your router's web interface. Use the Orbi app to manage parental controls settings and access NETGEAR SPC.
If you do not have an active subscription, please follow the instructions below to purchase one using your Orbi app:
To purchase a NETGEAR SPC subscription:
- Launch the Orbi app.
- Tap the home icon on the top left of your screen.
- Tap ADD ONS.
- Tap Parental Controls.
- Tap Buy Now > See Pricing.
- Choose a subscription plan and tap Get Started.
- Provide the required payment information.
- Tap the confirmation button at the bottom of your screen to confirm your purchase.
NETGEAR SPC is active on your router.

Hi Kevin,
Sorry , thought i replied but looks like i did not.
The options I see are as below . There is no ADVANCED > Security > Parental Controls.
Same with the mobile APP , I dont see and addons option under the Home Sandwich menu.
I checked the loggedin profile and mynetgear online and the email address and country and other details match.
I did see my old nighthawk devices and have unregistered them. I do see this below when i click on the router device in mynetgear but nothing other than this regarding parental controls in the app or in routerlogin.net

Smart Parental Controls is only seen and handled on the Orbi app. Won't be seen on the RBR web page.
