Parental Controls Issue with extender connected to AX1800/RAX10 Router

Does Netgear respond to cases you open with them? I opened one about this topic a week ago with nothing yet. This is a case for a brand-new product, under warranty, with a full year of the paid parental controls.
Finally got a response...two actually on the same day. And neither are helpful. I give up.
Has anyone figured out a way to use a Netgear extender in the method in my original post?
