When I purchased the Orbi RBK752 Kit back in May, I already had a stand alone Circle Plus appliance on my network. If I recall, you could either use the build in Circle functions on the Orbi or the appliance. I opted to NOT use the build in Circle functions.
A few months ago, I used the Circle App on my phone to see usage of my kids. All of the usage dropped to zero. Also porn sites were readily available to ALL users.
Did you set up a subscription to pay for Circe Plus? It doesn't come free.
Maybe you ran out of a trial run.
I saw a couple of articles on this forum that mentioned the need to do a factory reset (which I did after getting the current firmware). I used the direct interface for the orbi (at http://192.168.1.1) to do the setup. It never asked me about Parental Controls.
That will get you nowhere without a paid subscription.
I did purchase the lifetime subscription on the Circle Plus appliance (not the service in the Orbi). I get the sense the newer firmware on the Orbi's (RB750 series) are no longer compatible with the Circle appliance. Tonight I'll try and do a factory reset, but make sure the Circle appliance is not connected to the network.
